Global Positioning System (GPS) LADO Ground System

Providing mission planning to the Launch and Early Orbit, Anomaly Resolution, and Disposal Operations (LADO) segment of the GPS satellite ground system.

a.i. solutions is providing mission planning support to develop and integrate the GPS LADO sub-system for the U.S. Air Force's Global Positioning System (GPS) satellite ground system. LADO is a commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) based system, designed for launch and early orbit operations, on-orbit anomaly and contingency resolution and disposal operations. The a.i. solutions developed system will provide spacecraft orbit and attitude determination, orbit and attitude maneuver planning, maneuver command generation, and contact planning products generation. The contract period of performance is 2002-2007.

Our role on the GPS team leverages both our expertise at providing flight dynamics engineering services and FreeFlyer, our COTS analysis software for spacecraft mission design. Specific tasks in support of GPS LADO include:
